Who we are

WinstonHQ is an AI-powered back office assistant built for contractors. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our website at winstonhq.ai.

What we collect

We collect only what is necessary:

• Email address — when you join our waitlist. We use this to notify you when Winston becomes available and for product updates. Nothing else.
• Basic server logs — standard web server logs including IP address and browser type. These are used for security and debugging only and are not shared.

What we do not collect

We do not use tracking pixels, third-party analytics, advertising cookies, or any behavioral tracking tools. We do not sell or share your email address with anyone.

Your business data

Winston is designed so that your business data never touches our servers. Each contractor runs Winston on their own private server — one they own and control. Job costs, invoices, materials, QuickBooks data, and all business information lives on your server only. We have no access to it.

QuickBooks integration

Winston integrates with QuickBooks Online via Intuit’s official OAuth 2.0 API. Your QuickBooks credentials are never stored by WinstonHQ. Authentication tokens are stored only on your private server. We access your QuickBooks data only to perform actions you explicitly request through Winston.

Data retention

Waitlist email addresses are kept until you ask to be removed or until we notify you that Winston is available. You can request removal at any time by emailing hello@winstonhq.ai.

Your rights

You can request to view, correct, or delete any information we hold about you at any time. Email us at hello@winstonhq.ai and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not retroactively change how we handle data already collected without notice.
